The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service Col. Hameed Ali (rtd)
has been honoured as a fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations. Ali was decorated with his batch by the National President of NIPR, Dr. Rotimi Oladele during a three days workshop organised by the Service for its Public Relations Officers and maritime journalists last week.
While we commend the Customs boss on the new award, we also admonish him to learn the nuggets of Public funds which were revealed at the programme.
His leadership style should embrace transparency and openess that comes with effective Public Relations.
