What an irony of life? As opposition party member, President Bola Tinubu sponsored and partly sponsored all political rallies against the ruling party.
His role as one of the NADECO leaders is not controvertible. He was frank as ever on his critique of the activities of successive governments to the admiration of many people.
Today, as the president he has been sponsoring agents and using the government instrumentality to stop the civil society groups and the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) from embarking on protest against his policies-induced hardship on the people.
Before now, everybody called him a democrat and he prided himself as one. He now sees protest as anti-government. What a two-facedness!
