BEARS: Electric Stabbing

BEARS: Electric Stabbing
TEMITAYO OGUNBUSOLA AND OLADOTUN
Frustration oozing out of the economic hardship occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic has led to ‘electric stabbing’.
Electric Stabbing is a term used to describe a fight using knifes or daggers over payment of electricity bills.
A 30-year-old Nollywood actor, Temitayo Ogunbusola, carried out electric stabbing on his neighbour, Oladotun Osho, to death following a disagreement over the payment of electricity bill, last Sunday at No. 4 Sebil Kazeem Street in the Ikotun area of Lagos State.
Trouble started when a resident of the house, one Banjo, demanded the payment of the electricity bill from the other occupants. Temitayo was alleged to have refused to pay his share of the bill, which led to an argument between him and Banjo.
