BEARS: Ajegunle: A Sorry Sight

Despite its close proximity to the nation’s busiest seaports and being surrounded by numerous tank farms, top government agencies and multinationals, Ajegunle remains a sorry sight with an inhumane atmosphere and home to some of poorest populace in Nigeria. With lots of canals and extremely untidy environment from the numerous industrial activities and overcrowded population, living in Ajegunle is a nightmare that’s experienced day and night by the inhabitants.

Can’t the mighty organizations like Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), Flour Mills, Dangote, among others channel their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) towards sanitizing the environment which hosts their headquarters and top offices?
