Lagos citizens failed to protest over Lagos-Badagry bad roads as anticipated after “MASS ACTION!!!” sensitization trended few weeks ago. Residents and commuters of the route were expected to mobilize to protest the gruesome traffic congestion along the expressway, to demonstrate their displeasure by barricading the roads on October 30th and 31st, last week, but no one showed up.
MMS Plus newspaper visited the road on Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st but the mass action and mobilization of youths, market women, students, civil servants, drivers, among others, never held.
It was business as usual for road users even as the condition of the road continues to deteriorate.
