Surprise! Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, the founder of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) threw due process to the back door when he endorsed Dr. Alban Igwe, for the position of the Registrar of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) at the recent Freight Forwarders’ Day in Lagos right before the governing council members of the Council and the Chairman, Col. Tsanni Abubakar, whom he charged to ensure that Dr. Igwe was given the job in preference.
It was a move many considered very premature considering that many other candidates who are also freight forwarders had applied for same position. Somebody described him as being over drunk with delusion and the spirit of Kpokirikpo . What does this mean? The Bears does not know!
They interpreted his action to mean announcing results before interview. However, how many applicants are there for this position? And how qualified are they? What does CRFFN need in a Registrar?
