BULLS: Listening Ears

Bull thumbs up the Federal Government for having heard the cries of its citizen and has finally approved to change the fiscal policy measure on rice importation from 100% to 20%.

Some months back, the Federal Government added 100 percent levy on imported rice on the initial 10 percent customs duty on it. Since the introduction of this policy, the rate at which people smuggle rice through the land borders increased.

Bull finds it applaudable for the government to listen to the plight of her people and resorting to change its policy to suit the yearnings of the people even though the policy had robbed the Federal Government of its revenue collection while it lasted.

Mr. President, more power to your elbow as you heighten effort to bring back our girls and curb the insecurity in the land.
