BULLS: NLC Demands 300%  Pay  For  Tinusubsidy

Listening to the President of Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero  advance argument against the removal of fuel subsidy by the government is soul-searching. The hasty fuel subsidy removal by President Bola Tinubu  and its attendant condemnation  has revealed the unpreparedness of the government. Ajaero asked if the government will be willing to increase workers’ salary by 300 per cent ratio because the price increase in transportation spurred by the subsidy removal will erode the current workers’ salary value. He got no answer. It means more strikes on many issues will dot this government in quick succession.  Subsidy removal is a reality that must be managed by all. It is not done by fiat but by meeting the conditions of operations.
