Owolabi, SAHCOL Boss, Bags PHD

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) Oluropo Owolabi has been honoured with a Doctorate Degree.

The award was given by the Commonwealth University and London Graduate School Consortium at the Ange Hill Hotel, Accra, Ghana to recognize Oluropo Owolabi’s esteemed contribution to the Nigerian Economy.

The Commonwealth University (CU)was established as a private International University company fully owned by the Island Open University Belize under the laws of the Government of Belize, pursuant to the International Business Companies (IBC) Act of 1990. The University appointed the London Graduate School as its official tuition provider and administrator of its academic activities.

The award ceremony which was also the African Leadership Summit 2015 was attended by the crème de la crème in the Government, Expatriates, dignitaries in the academia and distinguished guests of all works of life. Oluropo Owolabi was presented with a Doctorate Degree of the University and also a certificate in Professional studies in Leadership.

Oluropo Owolabi who is the Managing Director of SAHCOL is involved in the day to day running of the company which includes Passenger Handling, Ramp Handling, Cargo Handling and Warehousing, Aviation security, Baggage Reconciliation, Crew bus and Executive Lounge services and other related ground handling services.

The Managing Director was recognized as an esteemed Chief Executive who has been able to inspire excellence among his subordinates and all who come across him most especially in the Nigerian Aviation Industry. This award is not the first of such bestowed unto Oluropo Owolabi for his notable efforts and contributions to the society especially in his chosen professional field of expertise which is aviation. He has in the past received honours and awards for his astute business acumen, innovative skills, corporate excellence and innovative approach to corporate turnaround.
