Hajarious Hajara

Hajara Bashir Umar is the first woman from Northern Nigeria to reach the rank of Wing Commander in the Nigeria Air force. She got her support and motivation from her father who was a veteran military officer.  Hajara was encouraged to join the force despite her mother’s objection to the idea. She is perhaps one of the most influential women in Nigeria because of her rare courage. Hajara is dedicated mother, patriotic Nigerian and a truly successful woman; she says have an ‘hajarious week’
