NSC Holds 2018 Stakeholders’ Appreciation Night This Week

The annual Stakeholders’ Appreciation Night organized by the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) comes up on Thursday, December 6th at Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos at 5pm.

This year’s edition is expected to be chaired by the President, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) Engr. Mansur Ahmed.

The annual event is aimed at reviewing activities during the year and initiate actions needed to move the industry forward in the coming year.

At the event, stakeholders who have distinguished themselves in their daily operations all through the year would be recognized and celebrated to encourage them to do more in moving the shipping sector forward.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Gida Mustapha is expected to be Special Guest of Honour, while the Honourable Minister of Transportation Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi would be the Host

The one-day programme would have in attendance various stakeholders at the  ports, including Trade Groups, Shipping Companies, Seaports/Off Dock Terminal Operators, Freight forwarders, Shippers, Cargo Consolidators, Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers, Economic Summit Group, among others.

Other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion are Governors of Edo, Jigawa, Kebbi, Plateau and Oyo States as well as Ministers of Finance, Information and Culture, Trade and Investment, among others.
