BULLS: Well done Apapa Police!
The Ports police officers seem to be doing impressionably well lately, in terms of curbing crimes at the ports. This, MMS Plus perceives to be a renewed vigor in ensuring peace and tranquility around the ports environment.
Just last week, a 28-year-old man, identified as Ibrahim Isah was arraigned before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court for allegedly robbing a clearing agent at gun point in Apapa; Isah is facing a three-count charge bothering on conspiracy, possession of firearm and robbery.
In a related development, a 22-year-old motorboy identified as Abiodun Yusuf was also arraigned before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court for allegedly displaying a long dagger in a manner to cause terror to passersby at the Tin Can Island Port Complex (TCIPC). Yusuf is facing a one-count charge bothering on breach of peace.
If this tempo can be maintained by the police with utmost objectivism, our ports environment would be sanitized.
