, when one is retiring from service , it is said that one has served meritoriously but it is difficult to address this man like that. Mr. Chris Osunkwo, the Customs PRO of the Tin Can Customs Command is bowing out of the service after many years of mixed services to the Customs service and the nation. We thank God for keeping him alive but pray not to have his type again in Customs service. He is an image- maker couched in irony. He will be remembered for perpetually keeping “Egyptian mummies” and “Eyaa Akpatees” in his PR enclave. The media memory will ever be fresh with his disappearing theatrics to avoid paying his debt. Now, when last did Osunkwo declare his assets? President Buhari and the Code of Conduct Bureau should take note! Can Osunkwo explain the story of a missing key and a girl in his office? He who lives in a glass house should avoid the hurling of stones. Please, the CGC should think of making those knowledgeable in PR the PROs, not Container Relations Officers(CROs).This is the Osunkwo factor in Customs!
