Food and beverage company, Ashmina Limited, manufacturer of Aquadana bottled water, has said that it has been presented with the NIS ISO 9001:2015 certificate by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria in recognition of its quality management standards.
According to the firm, it is the first food and beverage company to get certified with the highest level of the quality management system, adding that the Nigerian Industrial Standards certificate is usually presented to companies that have continuously maintained high quality management systems and processes to meet customer requirements and expectations.
The Deputy Managing Director of Dana Group, Mr. Gautam Hathiramani, while receiving the certificate was quoted as saying that the company was committed to providing quality products and services.
“We are proud of our dedicated team for making this milestone achievement. This affirms our commitment to internationally recognised quality management principles and encourages us to do better each day. We are honoured that Aquadana has achieved this,” he said.
He said that having passed numerous audits including the KFC Food Safety Audit and European Standards for packaged premium drinking water, Aquadana remained one of Nigeria’s most popular brands.
