Rita Chiemenem is the Head, Treasury, Globus Bank. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She started her banking career in Access Bank Plc in 2007 and rose to become the Bank’s Head, Fixed Income Trading.
She has vast experience in Fixed Income and Currency Trading, Asset and Liability Management, Treasury Sales, Correspondent Banking and Financial Institutions.
As a result of her Outstanding Performance, the bank received a Special award/Recommendation from Debt Management Office as the Most Outstanding Primary Dealer Market Marker in 2016. Also, under her purview the Bank received the FMDQ Gold award in 2018 as the best FMDQ Fixed Income Market Liquidity Provider. Rita is an alumnus of the Aresty Institute of Executive Education at Wharton University and a Fellow of the Financial Market Dealers Association of Nigeria.
