She is also the Chairperson of the Nigerian Transport Commissioners Forum, a group which has become a formidable network to share ideas and strategies in a bid to address the multifaceted transport sector issues in various states of the federation.

Speaking at the National Transport Summit organized by the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration (CIoTA) Nigeria, last month, Rahmatu expressed willingness to partner the Institute in a bid to improve transportation across the country.
