Industry Professionals Set To Train Operators In International Freight Documentation

The Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria (ITAN) in collaboration with Land and Sea International Nigeria Limited, presents a two-day paper presentation to offer a systematic approach towards defining maritime logistics and documentation with its value creation from the perspective of industry professionals.

The programme which is titled: A Training Workshop on Maritime Logistics And Documentation is slated for the 15th and 16th of October, 2015, at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos.

Among the resource persons to present papers on relevant topical discourse are: Dr. Babatunde Samuel, the Executive Director, Port and Terminal Management Academy of Nigeria, Dr. J. O Maduka, Chief Cabotage Officer of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).

Also included is, the National President of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Dr. Eugene Nweke, the Welfare Officer of Nigeria Ship Owners Association, Adu Gbolahun.

Not forgetting, Mr Babafemi Sunday of Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Mr. Oluwaseyi Hamilton, MD, Maritime Microfinance Bank, and Barr. Asiegbu Chuka.

Attendees will be expected from, Shipping Companies, Ship Owners, Marine Logistics Operators, Banks, Freight Agents, Importers and Exporters, Insurance Companies, Port Terminal Operators, Maritime Lawyers, Oil and Gas Companies, Ship Chandlers, Government Agencies and the media.
