BULLS: Women Arise!

This is good news! Yes, good news!   The story here is a story of dedication to vision, committment to mission and unwavering pursuit for excellence. Barr. (Mrs.) Jean Chiazor Anishere, a former President of Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association(WISTA-Ngeria) has moved from being an advocate and solicitor as well as a prolific writer and an author on Admiralty matters to being the latest shipowner in Nigeria. In fact, a female shipowner. We say congratulations to our MMS  Hall of Famer on achieving this feat. We recall her idea as the then President of WiSTA, Nigeria to assemble some women who have shared vision of serious shipping business to float a company and acquire vessels. It eventually did not fly, today she flew the flag alone! Uju Ifejika did, Margaret Oraekwusi did it, Folorunsho Alakija did it, now Jean has done it, among some other silent women achievers. The deal was  recently consummated, and soon the bottom will begin her maiden voyage, after the due ceremony. Welcome to the club of shipowners,Jean! Three gbozas for our MMS Hall of Famer.
