The Night of Tributes held for late Hon. Mrs. Promise Anaroke recently carried an ambiance of mourning despite incessant pleas by the Master of Ceremony (MC) that the event was one of celebration about the achievements of Promise. Nothing could change this atmosphere of sadness as the event lingered until the Founder of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Dr. Boniface Aniebonam provoked the audience to laughter including Mr. Kingsley Anaroke who was in tears earlier.
Everyone spoke at the event on a sad note. However, it was the opposite when Dr. Aniebonam took the microphone. He had smiles while he spoke and had one hand in his pocket until he was going to make a gesture with it.
Having stressed that Promise had fulfilled her role as the peace maker who helped shapen the life of Mr. Kingsley Anaroke; Aniebonam said, “Kingsley, stop trouble! Promise is no more there. If you make trouble, you are on your own”. The crowd, including Kingsley burst into wild laughter.
