Following the directive by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to pay up all outstanding allowances and tuition fees owed Ex-Militants which had been delayed, the Amnesty Office has confirmed that the accounts of students studying in foreign institutions have been credited by the CBN.
We have no doubt that the former militants are thankful for this kind gesture from the president.
It is quite comforting and reassuring to note that contrary to what naysayers expected, the president has shown concern about the plight and welfare of the people of Niger Delta. Ride on, Mr. President!
