BULLS: Beautiful Brutality

The hardship meted on commuters and residents along the Lagos Badagry expressway took a positive twist as the officials of the China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) decided to fix the massive gullies and potholes which had made the road almost impassable for commuters.

This beautiful action by CCECC didn’t just emerge, it was coerced by Army officers who had stormed the tents of CCECC officers in an aggressive attack after four tankers and several cars and buses got burnt on Tuesday last week. The officers allegedly beat up some CCECC officials and promised to make their base a living hell if the construction company wouldn’t do palliatives on the road.

Too bad for the vehiclesand other properties lost during the accident but the residents in the area can heave a sigh of relieve as the road has become passable. Cheers to the beautiful gains of brutality by the Nigerian Army.
