BEARS: Managing Customs PROs

The attitude of some Public Relations Officers of customs commands is so appalling and nauseating. So, demeaning of their position and leaves one to think that they are just occupying the position because there is no one to do the job.  It reminds one of the professionalism  and extra-human relationship management demonstrated by the Ag CGC, Wale Adeniyi as PRO for over two decades; Compt Dera Nnadi of Seme Command, now; Compt. Timi  Bomodi of Kirikiri Command now; Compt. Musa Omale of Sokoto/Zamfara Command; DC Okonma and a few others in their various era. However,  Nkeiru Nwala; Ngozi Okwara, all of Tin Can Command; Ifeoma of Onne Command and Usman of Apapa Command, deserve some commendations. This means that there should be  sustainable training for the Image-makers to align with the renewed vision and dedication for service. PROs should not be Container Relations Officers(CROs).
