A Wind Of Hope In Customs

There was a gale of promotion in Nigeria Customs Service, NCS recently with the Tin Can Command having no fewer than 110 officers wearing new ranks in a decoration ecstacy decked with colours of hope and sparks of motivation glittering in their faces and feet. January 10, 2024 will not die in a hurry for the officers and the Command which produced unprecedentedly 67 Comptroller’s, the highest in the NCS.

The Command”s Area Controller, Compt. Dera Nnadi was elated as he charged the newly promoted officers to use their new ranks and positions to ensure efficient service delivery to the trading community.

Advising them to justify their promotion , he said the collaboration between them and the stakeholders has helped in building the capacity of the officers that made the command emerge with highest number of the new promotion beneficiaries.

Among those decorated were nine Deputy Comptrollers who became Comptrollers; 16 Assistant Comptrollers promoted Deputy Comptrollers and 21Chief Superintendent of Customs promoted to Assistant Comptrollers. Stakeholders had their place at the event as they shared in the decorations milieu.
