Mrs. Lizzie Ogodinma
Mrs. Lizzie Ogodinma Ovbude is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ports and Terminal Operators Limited (PTOL) Port Harcourt, Rivers State. An experienced and well respected professional in the maritime industry, she obtained a Master of Science Degree in Transport from the University Wales, Cardiff, UK; having schooled at the University of Benin and the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, Zaria.
She was conferred with a Chartered status by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Niigerian
A very humbly nurtured personality, Mrs. Ovbude started a career in Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) in 1972 and rose to the position of an Assistant General Manager in 2005 where she retired and helped to established PTOL.
She has attended several seminars locally and internationally and privileged to be a recipient of several awards including Achievers Awards and Award of Excellence. She is also a Trustee on the Board of Women in Logistics and Transport (WILAT).
Mrs. Ovbude in NPA was a bundle of inspiration to younger generation of workers. Her tireless efforts at empowering people pushed her into helping to establish PTOL, where hundreds of Nigerians are currently employed, making a living. Today PTOL is spreading the drive to make eastern ports relevant for ports decongestion.
