NIPR, NEPC Partner On Promotion Of Made-In-Nigeria Products

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) have agreed to collaborate towards the promotion of Made-in-Nigeria products and services within and outside the country as a way of boosting the nation’s economy.
President of NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku, who led a delegation on Tuesday to the NEPC Headquarters in Abuja said that the partnership was critical because both organisations have a shared responsibility to promote Nigeria’s reputation within and outside the shores of the country, emphasising that the nation is endowed with quality resources to lead the world.
While making presentation on the forthcoming World Public Relations Forum (WPRF), Dr. Neliaku called on the NEPC leadership to set up a products and services exhibition pavilion at the global event to showcase Nigeria’s talent, innovation and creativity in the production value chain.
The President lauded the Council’s Executive Director/CEO, Mrs. Nonye Ayeni for the increased value she has brought to locally made products through quality finishing and packaging.
“What we have in this country is not any less compared with other products elsewhere. With the innovation you have brought into packaging, NEPC will use the WPRF platform to display to the world what we are capable of producing in this nation, and that we are not just a consuming nation”, he stated.
In her response, ED, CEO, Mrs. Nonye Ayeni pledged the commitment of the Council to partner with NIPR, the Host Institute for the WPRF event, which will offer a credible platform to display Made-in-Nigeria products to both local and global communities.
The NEPC ED/CEO while highlighting the efforts towards the nation’s economic diversification agenda said that the NIPR’s strategic position as the nation’s foremost reputation management body will be of immense value in helping more Nigerian products make their way into into the international market.
