Since the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) barred phone numbers not linked to National Identity Number (NIN) on April 11th, 2022, Nigerians have been going through hell to get NIN. Millions of Nigerians flood local government councils, telecommunication companies, banks and commercial agents standing in long queues from 4am until 6pm daily.
It’s a lesson for nonchalance because the government has been sounding the need for NIN for almost two years.
With the 2023 presidential elections coming up early next year, millions of Nigerians still don’t have their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) and they will likely wait until it’s few weeks to the elections when they will suffer from dawn to dusk to get PVCs.
Wahala no dey finish for Nigeria!
But, some wahalas are avoidable.
