Security operatives at Five Star Logistics seem to have device another means of income for themselves in addition to the salaries they earn.
Last week, a journalist was on assignment at the terminal but was told that he could not get into the terminal without a reflective jacket and none was made available for that occasion. He was made to cough out N200 by one of the security men at the entrance gate and pronto he pulled his own reflexive jacket for the media man.
If the reflective jacket is so important, why would the security man take the risk of pulling his own for the visitor?
If indeed it is necessary, given the number of expected visitors to the terminal, why are they not surplus for visitors? That is simply privatization of jacket by Five Star Logistics. Shame!
