Omokehinde Adebanjo is the Vice President and Area Business Head for West Africa, Mastercard. Based in Nigeria, Omokehinde is responsible for advancing acceptance and issuance of Mastercard’s payment products in Nigeria and other English-speaking countries in West Africa.
Before her appointment, she fulfilled the role of Vice President for Business Development in the West African region. Omokehinde was employed by the Guaranty Trust Bank where she spent four years as the Head of Cards and Product Development. She was at Airtel, then Econet. Kehinde, as she is fondly known by friends, holds an MBA from the Lagos Business School and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
