The Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization, His Excellency Kitack Lim would be visiting the Federal Republic of Nigeria from November 20th – 22nd 2022.
The 3- day August visit is targeted by the Secretary General to attend the Nigeria International Maritime Summit 2022 happening on 21st to 22nd November.
The host of the NIMS 2022 are the Federal Ministry of Transportation and its Agencies in collaboration with the organized maritime private sector under the auspices of Nigeria International Maritime Summit.
According to the Honorable Minister of Transportation Engineer Mu’azu Sambo, the Federal Government is committed to ensuring Nigeria becomes a major destination for global maritime players.
