FG To Commence Military Queues At Nigerian Airports
The Minister of State Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has disclosed that military queues will be created at the airports as an opportunity to appreciate the Nigerian Armed Forces.
The minister made the disclosure during a courtesy visit by members of the Defence Headquarters Committee for Sensitization Strategy on Public Appreciation of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
The minister also said that special announcements will be made at the airports via the public address system to appreciate the Armed Forces sacrifices to maintain the peace in Nigeria.
Similarly, dedicated banners to appreciate the Armed Forces will be placed in all airports and aviation agencies across the country as well as personal stickers to also appreciate the military.
Highlighting the purpose of the committee, the leader, Air Vice Marshal Jomo Osahor, stressed that the group seeks to sensitize the public on the need to appreciate the armed forces of Nigeria.
He noted that the Chief of Defense Staff appointed the committee to come up with a strategy that will help enable the armed forces to be appreciated adding that a lot of media engagements are happening.
According to him, Nigerians are not ignorant the sacrifices the Nigerian Armed Forces are making in ensuring peace and maintaining the country.
He therefore urged people and organizations to strategize and talk about how they can support to the Armed Forces.
