BULLS: Silence Kills The Braggart
The awareness campaign of the African Women in Maritime (WIMA) Nigeria was seriously threatened by a braggart who claimed to be in-charge of the Bar-beach premises as he misjudged the members of WIMA Nigeria to be protesting rather than creating order the sensitization on the nation’s seas.
Despite the fact that the representative of the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority, the General Manager Special Duties at NPA, Mrs. Ugo Madueke met him to introduce herself, the young brutish man wouldn’t let peace be and he made efforts to call the police but he was put to shame as the women concluded their programme and left the premises before the issue escalated.
As the women took the sensitization rally back to the Eko Hotel, the WIMA Nigeria President, Barr. Jean Chiazor Anishere who remained unperturbed during the commotion said, “Silence is the best response to braggarts. Just don’t give them attention. It’s what they seek but it will hurt them more when you ignore them”
Please learn to ignore braggarts. Don’t stoop to their level by giving them your attention! Silence indeed kills the braggart.
