In what can be described as a novelty in Nigeria, a protest which lasted for five days and comprised a large chunk of young aggrieved citizens didn’t record any casualties or hijack by thugs.
Despite claims of a possible hijack by thugs from Ajegunle, the protest remained peaceful from Monday to Friday. This action has earned freight forwarding associations a commendation from Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and the entirety of Nigerians.
