It is worrisome how executives of the Customs Licensed Agents and Freight Forwarders now sit under umbrellas at the Port and Terminal Multi service Limited (PTML) since the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) cleared the containers serving as makeshift offices for them.
Bear condemns how the offices of the agents were demolished without making provisions for alternative, thereby keeping the honourable chairmen and their lieutenants standing under scorching sun.
Meanwhile they are among the business chain in the sector.
Bear says the management of NPA should do something fast before the young will suddenly turn to old by the unfriendly sun that we have these days. Does it mean these agents do not have money to rent befitting offices in Apapa?
