The spate of crime incidences continues to reverberate in our conscience with the recent robbery attacks at Zenith Bank and First Bank in Ebute Ipako area of Ikorodu, and to think that a police station is adjacent the scene of a robbery attack that lasted for over 2 hours!
Not only did they escape unapprehended but till date we are yet to hear any progress reports on investigations relating to the crime.
These days all we hear about is the pen robbery going on in the Federal Government institutions, with accusations of N8.4billion fraud in NNPC and many more allegations. The crime rate keeps increasing and all the police do is to “siddon look”.
