ABER Celebrates Patron, Bernard Mutanga On His Birthday As He Reaffirms Commitment To Pan-African Blue Economy Vision
The Africa Blue Economy Roundtable (ABER), a Pan-African platform mandated to promote the sustainable governance, conservation, and commercialization of Africa’s blue economy resources across coastal and landlocked communities in Africa and the African Diaspora, has felicitated with its Patron in Zimbabwe, Mr. Bernard Mahara Mutanga, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message signed by its Convener and Founder, Dr. Piriye Kiyaramo, ABER described Mr. Mutanga as a distinguished Zimbabwean industrialist, visionary architect, and passionate champion of the blue economy whose work exemplifies inclusive growth, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods.
Dr. Kiyaramo noted that Mr. Mutanga’s industrial leadership aligns perfectly with ABER’s vision of leveraging Africa’s industrial capacity, blue resources, and diaspora partnerships to drive sustainable development from the Atlantic to the Indian Ocean and beyond.

On this special day, ABER is honoured to celebrate your wisdom, philanthropic spirit, humility, and visionary leadership,” Dr. Kiyaramo stated.
