BEARS: Death Trap Roads
On
Friday this week, a container-laden truck was involved in an accident at Ojuelegba Lagos causing heavy gridlock for long hours on that axis. Although no live was lost, the cause of the accident was the dilapidated state of the road.
How long would we have to sing to the government authorities to fix our roads? We don write tire, sing tire, beg tire, yet the roads remain the same.
When such incidents occur why does it take hours for the relevant authorities to show up and remove the vehicles so the traffic flow returns to the norm?
