The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) led by Colonel Hameed Ali (Rtd.) has been accused of running a none inclusive agency. In a chat with a chieftain of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) it was revealed to Bears that the agency under its current management team was very good in taking decisions that affect practitioners in the industry without diligent stakeholders engagement or consultation.
It was also learnt that this was not the case when an officer from the Service was the Controller General of Customs (CGC). Things like this should be expected when an outsider was package to come and run an agency he had no prior knowledge of. Someone should whisper to the colonel to open his door
