Customs CG Decorates Seven Officers With New Ranks
The Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Col. Hameed Ali (rtd), has formally decorated seven management cadre officers of the service yesterday.
The decoration with new ranks followed confirmation of seven senior officers of the Service who had been serving in ‘Acting’ capacity by the NCS board
The National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Mr. Joseph Attah revealed this in a statement confirming the decoration in a social media post listing the officers with their new designations.
According to Attah, the officers include; Sanus Umar, Deputy Comptroller General in-charge of Human Resource Development; Musa Jibrin, Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) Finance Admin and Technical Services (FATS).
Others are ACG, Emmanuel Udo-aka, Strategic Research and Policy (SR&P);
ACG, Abdullahi Babani, Tariff and Trade ( T&T); ACG, Excise, Free Trade Zones and Industrial Incentives Modupe Aremu ( E,FTZ&II); ACG, Chris Odibu as Zonal Coordinator, Zone B and ACG, Bashir Abubakar Secretary NCS BOARD.
While congratulating them, Attah quoted the Customs CG to have charged the newly decorated officers to bring their experiences to bear in the discharge of their new responsibilities.
Ali admonished the newly decorated officers to move the country to the next level with selfless service especially at an organisation like NCS whose functions are crucial to economic development as well as national security.
