Women In Mining In Nigeria To Exhibit Gold & Gems In Conference

In a bid to accrue a diversified economy for Nigeria and lure human interests in the mining sector, the Women In Mining In Nigeria (WIMIN), Lagos Chapter would be hosting its maiden Gold and Gemstone Exhibition between November 4th and 5th at the Metropolitan Club, Victoria Island Lagos.
The theme of the Exhibition which would be preceded by a conference is “Unveiling Nigerian Gold and Gems to the World’’. The two-day event would feature agenda such as : WIM from 22 states gather to showcase their mining products and value chain, buy your early Christmas gifts at this unique exhibition, pre-exhibition private viewing by invitation only, award dinner and jewellery fashion show amongst others.
Thirteen eloquent and stakeholders would be the speakers for the day. Some of them include: Nere Emiko, Vice Chairman, Kian Smith Refinery; Taiwo Okwor, Vice President, International Division of the Africa Finance Corporation; Kiki Uduma, founder and chief executive Officer of Kiki Lucas Jewelry and so on . Likewise, the Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu would grace the event along with other invited participants.
WIMIN is a business membership and non-profit organization poised to promote gender equality and equity in Nigeria. Currently WIMIN can be spotted in 23 states across the federation with a membership bank of over 3,000 women. In addition, Women In Mining has extended its tentacles in Africa and in the international community.
