WISTA-Nigeria was ably represented at the Women in Maritime Africa (WIMAfrica) conference and the Africa Union (AU) Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia during the Launch of the 2015 decades of African Seas and Oceans as well as the celebration of the Africa Day of the Seas and Oceans at the AU Headquarters.
Jean Chiazor Anishere emerged the vice-president of WIMAfrica while Promise Anaroke, a member of one the high-powered committees.
