Transport Firm To Hold National Conference On Bill Of Lading
Land and Sea International Limited, a transport consulting firm holds a national conference on the problems of Bill of Lading (BOL) as a contract of carriage in the 21st century on Thursday 24th May and Friday 25th May at Rock View Hotel, Apapa, Lagos.
The Public Relations Officer of Land and Sea International, Chinenye Akanno revealed this in a press release disseminated to the media last week.
The nationwide conference is to discuss maritime documentation Bill of Lading, involving transaction of imported and exported documents for cargoes into the country.
The event which is co-sponsored by the Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC) also aims at examining critical clauses for BOL, the role and key features of BOL in international transaction and carriage of goods by sea contract, how to deal with short-landing, shop shipment and damaged cargo, how to detect, handle and prevent frauds related to BOL, etc.
