Ondo Government Commence Use Of Ore TTP

Ondo state government has opened a standard transit park known as Ore sunshine city where trucks and luxury buses can be parked in an environment that has full compliments of all conveniences.

It has now become an offence for drivers of truck and luxury buses to park indiscriminately at the Ore axis of the Lagos-Benin express way, in Odigbo local government area of Ondo State.

At an interactive session with journalists in Akure, Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Tobi Ogunleye also said government has proscribed blockage of roads for social engagements across the state.

He said the sunshine city can accommodate over 200 trucks at once while a hotel and other conveniences have been provided for the comfort of drivers.

He said anyone caught obstructing free flow of traffic or park indiscriminately at Ore and anywhere in the state will face full wrath of the law.

Ogunleye said a police post in the area has also been upgraded to a divisional station to ensure adequate security.

He called on motorists plying the Lagos-Benin road to key into the new development as it will help guarantee unhindered flow of traffic and ease discomfort while traveling.
