The Nigerian Ports Consultative Council (NPCC) will hold its Maritime Biennial Seminar this week 9th December at Eko Hotel, Lagos.

The seminar which has the theme: The Nigerian Port Industry: The way towards Appropriate Port cost, Port Infrastructure and Port Regulation will focus on the stimulation of deeper interests in the trends and developments in maritime sector and generally in the nation’s economy through informed discussions and debate in line with the council’s statutory, advocacy, advisory and arbitration roles in the industry.

NPCC is to achieve through the seminar improved ways of doing business at the nation’s seaports.

In that regard, they have invited ship-owners, terminal operators, maritime experts, port users, dredging companies, oil and gas companies, freight forwarding associations, truck owners, banks and other financial institutions, media and other stakeholders in the industry to cash in on the seminar to display the diverse investment packages therein.

The seminar will have eminent resource persons give pin-pointed presentations that will address the challenges in the industry.
