Hadiza Bala Usman is the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA). Prior to her appointment, she was the Chief of Staff for the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai. Hadiza is a very ambitious lady who has already achieved a lot at a young age and her emergence as the first female Managing Director at NPA already inspires a lot of women in the maritime industry.Hadiza became famous as a Nigerian activist when she started the #BringBackOurGirls campaign in 2014 following the kidnapped Chibok girls.
