Gov. Mbah Silences Critics

The Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah has taken radical infrastructural and economic development measure to silence his critics and oppositions.
MMS Plus checks in ministries of education, works, health, transport, agriculture, among others showed that there were massive ongoing development activities in the state.
Recently, the Governor flagged- off the construction and dualization of the 43.7 km Penoks- Abakpa Nike – Ugwuogo– Nike -Opi-Nsukka Road with streetlights.
The Governor explained that the completion timeframe of the project would be 18 – Months in line with his administration’s vision to make the state the premier destination for investment.
Commissioning the project, Mbah said: “In my acceptance speech after my election, we made a pledge that we are going to dualize the Penoks- Abakpa Nike Ugwuogo- -Opi-Nsukka Road because, if we had to grow this economy to an exponential height, no section of this state would be left behind “.
Paul Okoro, a major political stakeholder in Enugu State has to say about Governor Mbah’s administration: “For the purpose of clarity, to say that the people of Enugu have never had it so good like today in governance is a fact that stands the test of time, and very difficult to be contradicted.
“It is on record that His Excellency on Wednesday October 23, 2024 made Enugu State the first in the Nigeria to have her own Electricity Regulatory Commission disconnecting from the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission. This is a novel milestone in Nigerian economic development.
“Today, under his watch Enugu is fast becoming a sophisticated metropolitan city with the provisions of smart 360 cameras being mounted at strategic locations for security surveillance “.
Hon. Okoro appreciated the Governor for given the State workforce a minimum wage of #80,000 above the federal government, stressing, “Knowing the imperative of motivating a workforce, and a seasoned business mogul, he understands that a motivated workforce improves productivity and boosts employees satisfaction”.
Hon. Okoro concluded by saying: “With these economic breakthrough, Governor Mbah’s critics and oppositions are dumfounded”.
The State Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Patrick Uburu told MMS Plus that the recent lunch of the Tractor Assembly Plant in Enugu by the Governor, mechanized agriculture would be achieved, and thus would bring food security.
In his effort to industrialize the state and bring exponential economic development, the Governor recently commissioned the Watson Door Manufacturing Factory in Nnachi, Udi Local Government – a foreign direct investment.
The products from the Watson Door Manufacturing company were described by industry watchers as better than the imported products.
Our investigation further revealed that the Governor has inaugurated a state owned Asphalt Assembly Plant in Enugu State with desired product capacity.
