Prof. Dora Akunyili is a character that epitomizes many shades of virtue. As a Minister of Information and Communications, she reenacted the spirit of patriotism and discipline in Nigeria and etched it into national and international consciousness. As a Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Akunyili displayed unprecedented integrity and service to humanity. To show that good work pays, she got recognitions and awards locally and internationally from over 400 bodies.
