It is a difficult time to be an oil thieve anywhere in Akwa-Ibom state as the Nigerian Navy are on rampage.
Last week the Nigerian Navy nabbed 17 suspected oil thieves with 47,450 litres of diesel in Akwa-Ibom State and handed them over to the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in the state for prosecution.
We applaud the daring efforts of the Navy who have shown their stilt and resolve towards ensuring peace and safety along the Nigerian coastal waters.
