Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s support for an upward review in the remuneration of personnel of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) sounds welcoming. MMS Plus is of the view that if the presidency sincere with this pronouncement it would go a long way in motivating the personnel and reduce corruption in the service. Salary increment for civil servants in Nigeria is long overdue. Osinbajo should be applauded for acknowledging this incontrovertible fact.
