Dr. Faith Zibs Godwin was appointed Commissioner for Marine and Blue Economy by the Bayelsa State government. The Governor, Sen. Douye Diri deserves commendation for creating the ministry in line with global trend. It is however not too good that so much have been carved out for Dr. Faith. She has to learn the concept and operations of marine and blue economy before application for results. Let’s pray she applies her pharmaceutical background to deliver results. The challenge of breaking the gender assumption of failure is thick. Can Dr. Faith make female folk proud? Congratulations, however.
