BEARS: The Rise Of Cash And Carry CSOs

BEARS: The Rise Of Cash And Carry CSOs

What is happening?  Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) now engage themselves in image laundering for institutions. We read a claim by a coalition of civil society  organisations, so called, claiming that their investigation has shown that allegations of fraud against the director general of NIMASA, Dr. Bashir Jamoh are baseless and false.

We thought it was a one off thing but surprisingly, the same CSOs did  same for PenCom director general, Aisha Dahiru, saying she was falsely accused of misappropriation of funds.

This same group has failed to mention the number of CSOs in the coalition.  This is fraud in itself.  Surprisingly too, details of the investigations are not stated in the media report.  It was shocking to hear that they now write to people to be engaged in advocacy and image laundering or protest. Where is Nigeria heading to?
